Five weeks to the day after ankle sprain with avulsion, I managed a wee run (2.9-mile village loop). Still no idea whether I’m likely to prove more of a help or a hindrance to Marie’s Celtman effort, but AFAIK nothing broke, nothing ruptured, and Beinn Eighe is calling! :-)

You’ll be fine Pete – and remember you “only” have to do the Beinn Eighe section if you want to do it… the rest is just a choice – and anyone else can join me for that bit. Impressed with your uphill run. Sorry I didn’t appear to comment on your previous blog – I tried 3-4 times – it was late at night and somehow I kept missing an information box and lost my entire comment.

Thinking Beinn Eighe could well be easier for me than Coulin Pass anyway because it’s more know-how and less dependent on ‘pace’. But you’ve also still got till about then to comment on the ‘Slioch’ blog if you want (I keep them open for 28 days), and it doesn’t have to be an essay! ;-)

Great news Peter, don’t overdo it though. Nice and slowly and you’ll get there.
